Contouring nah or yay?

Lately, in the beauty world contouring has been all the rage but let me state that I have a few misgivings about this instant slimming thing technique. First of all, you can look really bad when contouring is done wrong. In fact many people don’t do it correctly so they end up either looking like they have aged 10 years, or a zebra. Personally I love the idea of what contouring does which if you don’t know contouring it’s a popular technique that emphasizes your bone structure and makes you look flawless and slimming. (if done right). It was really made famous by the Kardashian’s which I have to say they do look flawless but I would too if I had my own personal makeup artist. Any way I have done some research on top products and will share. My biggest tip is to take a class at Sephora on contouring or do a private session and learn all about. Also I feel like contouring shouldn’t be done 24/7 its heavy but done right for a special occasion will look great.

Kat Von D contouring Kit-

This kit is great because it gives you a lot of options and tones and can be found at Sephora for $46.

Nars Contouring Kit-

What is great about this kit is that they have specific tones for different skin types which is great. This can be found at Sephora for $42.

Tarte The Sculptor-

What makes this different from everything is that it’s a stick not powder you can find this at Sephora for $24.

Check these products out and let me know how you like them and if you have any suggestions let me know!
