Valentine Gifts for the Lumberjack in Your Life

If the man in your life has a beard, most likely that beard is a secret (or not-so-secret) source of pride for him. Now I am not going to say that he loves his beard more than you or anything but lets be honest, that luscious beard is definitely sitting comfortably up there in his top 5. While I highly recommend doing something romantic for Valentine’s Day, getting him something that will pay tribute to that masterpiece on his face is a good way to say I love you, too.  My husband has had a beard since before it was cool to have one and I have learned to love the scruff, especially since he has started using some of the beardalicious products in this list.

The Art of Shaving Starter Kit $30

The Art of Shaving Starter Kit

My hubby used to dread shaving his neck until I bought him this kit. He thinks the key is in the pre-shave oil. I’m not going to lie, The Art of Shaving Stuff is pretty pricy but this little kit is a good way to try it out first before committing to the full size options.

GIBS Manscaper Beard, Hair & Tattoo Oil $15

I love my husband’s hairdresser (is that even what you call it for men?!) for convincing him to buy this. He put it on and I couldn’t stop cuddling up and smelling his beard. It made it feel softer, too, which is always better for kisses. Valentine’s Day is all about kisses, so this one is a winner.

Lush Kalamazoo Beard and Facial Wash $10

If you have an environmentally friendly/no animal testing sort of man on your hands, then this one is a good pick. Products from Lush are incredible and my husband is a big fan of this beard and facial wash. Shh don’t tell but I used this a few times. I had a moment of fear after sneaking some that I might suddenly grow a beard to rival my husband’s, but it specifically states it’s also good for non-beard users. Phew.

Honest Amish Beard Balm $14

Honest Amish Beard Balm

I am going to guess that Honest Amish knows his stuff when it comes to beards. Apparently this is good for beard itch, which is a real thing by the way. The scent of this one is a little strong (it reminds me of black licorice) but it seems to dissapate after a few minutes.

GIBS Man Wash Beard, Hair & Body Wash $20

For a guy, anything that will save time in terms of getting ready is always a good thing, right? This 3-in-1 goes well with the GIBS Beard, Hair & Tattoo oil.

There you have it. All of these products would be a great addition to your Valentine’s gift for that lumberjack of a bearded guy in your life.  Anything that makes his beard smell yummy makes him more kissable which is a win for him and a win for you, too!

Cheers!
